Women’s Swimming Falls to Cross-State Rival Eastern, 104-61

DANBURY, CT – The Western Connecticut State University women's swimming team fell to visiting cross-state rival Eastern Connecticut, 104-61, on Friday evening at the O'Neill Center. With the loss, the Colonials dropped to 0-2 overall while the Warriors improved to 2-1.

Eastern got the meet started with a victory in 200-yard medley relay. Western notched its lone victory in the 100-yard freestyle when sophomore Brianna Christiano (Prospect, CT) touched the wall in 1:01.72. The Warriors rounded out the contest with a win in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

Western returns to action at the University of Saint Joseph's on Friday, November 18 at 6 p.m.
